KidTimr is a timer app for young children. A parent signs in once with their email address. After that the app works on the phone, and the only thing we keep is that parent email.

Parent sign-in

Before a child can pick a pet, KidTimr asks a parent maths question and then asks for a parent email address. We send a link to that inbox; tapping it opens the app and signs the phone in. There is no password, and the phone stays signed in, so a parent normally does this once.

We keep that email address so we can:

• sign the same parent in again on a new phone
• send occasional news about KidTimr, or about another app we make for children

We do not sell it, we do not pass it to advertisers, and we do not use it to track anyone. To stop the emails, or to delete the parent account, open KidTimr, go to Pick a pet, tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen, answer the maths question, and confirm. That removes your email from our records. You can also write to hello@kidtimr.com and we will remove it.

The sign-in is run for us by Supabase, which stores the email address, and the message itself is delivered by Resend. Neither of them receives anything else from the app.

This is meant for a grown-up. Please do not enter a child’s email address. We do not ask for a child’s name, age, or email anywhere in the app.

If you later sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, Apple may give us a relay address (for example something@privaterelay.appleid.com) instead of your real one. We treat that the same way: it is only used to sign you in and to send news, and you can delete it with Delete account in the app.

What stays on the phone

KidTimr may save, only on that device:

• the last pet (Ella or Nini)
• the last timer length
• the language you picked
• whether sound was muted
• sticker IDs earned after a Yes
• an in-progress timer (so a wait can continue if you leave the app)

We cannot see this information. It is never copied to our computers. If you delete the app, that saved data goes away with it. The parent email is the one exception: it stays with us until you delete the account in the app (Pick a pet → Delete account), or email us.

Notifications

If you allow it, KidTimr can show a local “time’s up” notification on the same phone. That alert is not sent through our computers.

Delete account

On Pick a pet, tap Delete account at the bottom. A parent maths question comes first, then a confirm step, so a child cannot wipe the account by accident. That removes the parent email and sign-in from our records. Stickers and timers stay on the phone until you delete the app.

Parents can send an idea from the app or this website. That opens the device mail app to hello@kidtimr.com. We only see what you choose to send.

This website

kidtimr.com is a small public site (home, privacy, support). We do not put ads or tracking tools on it. Your web host may keep normal server logs (such as an IP address and the page requested) to keep the site running.

What we do not do

• no child accounts and no passwords
• no cloud backup of stickers or timers
• no ads
• no analytics SDKs in the app
• no tracking across other apps or websites
• no selling of personal information

Children

KidTimr is meant for ages about 3 to 8, with a parent nearby. The app is not built to collect a child’s name, email, or location. A parent maths question protects the custom timer, Pause, Cancel, and Delete account so little kids are less likely to change a long wait or wipe the parent account, and the same question comes before sign-in and before anything that leaves the app.
